Tranquil

Watercolor is the love of my life.  When I began painting in 2000 following my retirement from academia, media and government service, watercolor was my "go to."  I love how the pigments merge on the paper to form colors and shapes that cannot always be duplicated.  It was especially appropriate for this scene from Michigan.  This painting was purchased by dear friends here on Gull Lake who have a wonderful collection of art from all over the country and world.
