Relationships: Three's a Crowd

This is one of four in a series entitled "Relationships." You will notice that two of the figures are facing out and close to one another, while the third has her back to the viewer and represents the "outsider" in the relationship. The painting was done in watercolor on yupo, a plastic-like surface on which the paint sits on top. It is easy to create patterns in the wet paint, and it can even be wiped off to get back to the white surface.
