Windows on the World #7: East Meets West #2

I have been creating the series, "Windows on the World," since 2003 and now have painted more than 40.  Because of my interest in Asian art and culture, many of them have an Asian influence, either through the use of Kanji or Japanese and Chinese rice papers, or by design.  They are painted on 300 lb. watercolor paper using fluid acrylics, palette knife marks, collage, stamping with handmade stamps, and veiling.

This painting has been juried into several national and international exhibitions, including the San Diego Watercolor Society's International Exhibition where it won an award.
